Because nothing beats naturally cool weather =)
Was up in Cameron Highlands last weekend. And on the way up we realised: My bro has car sickness. That aside, it was a very uneventful trip. My dad thought me something too! Have you ever seen step-like slopes along the roads that are cut out from the mountains? Those are known as... Ba... Err, I forgot. But you know what it is. Apparently according to Malaysian regulations, they must not be more than 6 per slope and each step must not be more than 6 meters high.
But that's not the case for most of the slopes. Please, those slopes are SO high you cannot possibly limit the steps to only 6! So, like most Malaysian rules, it can be altered to suit the case.
You know, altered.
Anyway, engineering is fascinating =) Especially about airports! And my dad loves them too. I suspect I'm very much like my dad. When he loves something he will babble on and on and on about it, usually to a person who will not be listening to him at all. Kinda like me =.=
So, back to Cameron Highlands. Because of bro's nausea (He should be taking hyoscine and scopolamine for his carsickness! Or some ginger... I knew that from watching some random episode of Mythbusters), we rushed to the hotel first (eventhough I'm starving).
We stayed at Century Pines Resort. Pretty awesome place =) The room we stayed in is meant for 4 adults, as stated in the website and when we went there, I can safely say it can fit at least 2 large sized families.
The first thing I always check when I enter a room!
Because I'm a paranoid person yesh.
Pretty room! See that door beside the glass door to the balcony? It's the door to the stairs to the second floor =O
We tried honeycomb too! Personally I think they added more honey in the honeycomb. And some sugar too because it's seriously very sweet >.<
THE NEXT DAY!
Nothing much.... Basically, the purpose of our trip is to enjoy the cold chilly Cameron air (at night). During the day, it's a different story.
In Chinese, this flower is called 'Sky Full of Stars' (Man Tian Xing). Loved this flower since I was a young and I pestered my mom so much that she got fed up with me and really bought it... And it died few weeks later in the cold non-Cameron air =( Spoilt brat me.
More pretty flowers!
(Erm, you guys should know I'm bored blogging now =.=)
Shall end this post with food pics!
On the left: Charcoal steamboat we had on Cameron.
On the right: Steamed fish we had in Rawang.
Toodles!
(I'm such a bad blogger =.=)
